Key to Victory

Sound Defense. Against North Carolina in the preseason finale last week, the Spirit struggled defensively. There were visible holes in the group in their first game together. The play got a lot better when Rebecca Quinn slid into the centerback role, but a goal was still allowed. It is going to take a bit of getting used to for this group with the right side being completely new, but a strong showing against Seattle could go a long way.
